Welcome to Room 9!!
I was born and raised in Santa Rosa, CA. I attended Bennett Valley schools as a young girl, Slater for junior high, Montgomery for high school, and graduated from Sonoma State University with my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I absolutely adore Sonoma County and the surrounding areas!
I have taught in and around Sonoma County for the past four years. This is my 5th year teaching, and I am so thrilled to be working at Park Side Elementary! I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades. I love kids of all ages, and am looking forward to a fun year!
I have always enjoyed the outdoors and try and stay active as much as I can. I enjoy playing softball, taking fast walks, running, hiking, and cycling. I stick to the roads on my bike and enjoy traveling around Sonoma County and seeing the loveliness our county has to offer.
I come from a family of five including my mom and dad, two older brothers, and myself. My two older brothers are married to my fantastic sister-in-laws, and I am a proud Auntie to two nieces and two nephews whom I love to spoil! I just got engaged over Labor Day Weekend, and the students have been so excited! They know my name will be changing in December…J
I have grown up going to the lake with my family during the summer on a majority of our free weekends. We like going to Lake Berryessa early to ski on the glassy water, wakeboard, and tube when time permits. One of my favorite parts is relaxing on a raft and swimming in the peaceful cove where we picnic on our boat. Also, I am a big Giants fan and love going to games!
I am so excited to get to know all of you this year! If you ever need to get ahold of me, please email me at email@example.com
In closing, some of my favorite things are as follows:
Vacation Spot: Houseboating at Lake Trinity or Maui
Sports Team: Giants
Movie: While You Were Sleeping
Yummy Treat: Coconut Macroons, half dipped in chocolate
Starbucks Drink: Tall skinny vanilla latte with half the pumps of vanilla OR nonfat pumpkin spice latte with half the pumps of syrup J
