About Mr. Kuschner

Mr. Kuschner, "Mr. K," grew up in a house of teachers in Sonoma County. His mom taught special education and his dad was a high school physics teacher. Everything he loves about learning and teaching comes from them. Before he began his teaching career, he lived and worked in San Francisco, London, and Australia. Mr. K. began teaching in a fourth grade classroom eleven years ago. Since then, he has taught sixth grade and middle school math and science. He lives in Windsor with his family and pets.

Mr. Kuschner received his BA and teaching credential from Sonoma State University. He is excited and honored to be a part of the Sebastopol team!

"Working with kids makes teaching the best job. Every day is different and it is fun to work with kids who are excited about learning. I enjoy working at the middle school level, but also love doing experiments with students in younger grades. Seeing excitement when an experiment works is a big payoff!"
