PICTURE DAY, Friday Sept. 11th! Event Details and Pre-Order Link

MATERIALS PICK-UP / PICTURE DAY LOCATION CHANGE

Due to heavy smoke we will be moving the photo booth indoors to our Multipurpose Room (MPR) located on Washington Ave. Please see the map below. This will still be a socially distant, masked event and only one student will be allowed in to be photographed at a time. *Please keep students in your car until you are in front of the MPR steps. A staff will be at the steps to escort/direct your student to the photographer’s booth and materials pick up station. Then, please pull forward as far as possible to allow for other cars to pull up. Your student will be guided back to your car upon photo completion. 

EXIT by making a RIGHT on Huntley St. and a RIGHT on Dutton Ave.  Please do not make a U-turn on Washington Ave.

* If the line is long and backed up to Bodega Ave., please very slowly drive around the block to come back. You may also utilize the U-shaped driveway in front of Park Side’s main building to wait. Please do not back up traffic onto Bodega Ave.

CAMBIO DE UBICACIÓN DEL DÍA DE RECOGIDA / FOTO DE MATERIALES

Debido al humo denso, trasladaremos las fotos adentro de nuesro salon multiusos (MPR) ubicada en Washington Ave. Consulte el mapa a continuación. Este seguirá siendo un evento enmascarado socialmente distante y solo se permitirá la entrada a un estudiante a la vez. * Por favor, mantenga a los estudiantes en su automóvil hasta que esté frente a los escalones de MPR. Un personal estará en los escalones para acompañar / dirigir a su estudiante a la cabina del fotógrafo y a la estación de recogida de materiales. Luego, avance hasta donde pueda hacia enfrente para permitir que otros autos se detengan. Su estudiante será guiado de regreso a su automóvil cuando termine la fotografía.

SALGA haciendo una DERECHA en Huntley St. y una DERECHA en Dutton Ave. No gire en U en Washington Ave.

* Si la línea es larga y está en retroceso hasta Bodega Ave., conduzca muy lentamente alrededor de la cuadra para regresar. También puede utilizar el camino de entrada en forma de U frente al edificio principal de Park Side para esperar. No retroceda el tráfico en Bodega Ave.

• Remember this is a masked and socially distant event for all.

• Please remember to arrive at your scheduled time and drive slowly through the school area and side streets.

• First stop is the Pick-Up Station. Your teacher may or may not have materials to be picked up.

• Next stop is the Photo Booth. If you are a family with multiple students at Park Side, pick one student's grade level window and bring them all to be photographed in that time window.

• Only the child(ren) being photographed will be getting out of the vehicle, on the passenger side. Only students from West County Consortium will be allowed to have a parent/family member exit the vehicle to assist them with their photos.

• Once seated in the photographer’s chair, your child(ren) will be asked to remove their mask briefly to take the photo, and then will be asked to put it back on – this might need practicing at home!

• Once the student is returned to the vehicle, you are asked to exit the drive thru and proceed to the stoplight.

• Sorry, but due to COVID-19 there will be no paper order forms this year - everything is online.

This is our third year using our amazing photographer, Brenda Hawkes, of Hawkes School Portraits. She does a beautiful job - you won't be disappointed! Once our photos are ready, proofs will be emailed home to everyone. Those families that pre-ordered will receive the proof, as well as have their prints mailed immediately via USPS straight to their home. If you do not wish to pre-order, and choose to wait until you see the digital proof, you can do that, too, it will just take a little longer to get your photos.

• Class photos will be done by composite this year.

• If you can't make it to this Friday's picture day, we will have one more make-up/retake day in October. But we hope to see you all on Friday!

• Recuerde que este es un evento enmascarado y socialmente distante para todos.

• Recuerde llegar a la hora programada y conducir despacio por el área de la escuela y las calles laterales.

• La primera parada es la estación de recogida. Su maestro puede tener o no materiales para recoger.

• La siguiente parada es el Photo Booth. Si usted es una familia con varios estudiantes en Park Side, elija la ventana de nivel de grado de un estudiante y tráigalos a todos para ser fotografiados en esa ventana de tiempo.

• Solo los niños fotografiados saldrán del vehículo, del lado del pasajero. Solo los estudiantes del Consorcio del Oeste del Condado podrán hacer que un padre / familiar salga del vehículo para ayudarlos con sus fotos.

• Una vez sentado en la silla del fotógrafo, se le pedirá a su (s) hijo (s) que se quite la máscara brevemente para tomar la foto, y luego se le pedirá que se la vuelva a poner; ¡esto podría necesitar practicar en casa!

• Una vez que el estudiante regrese al vehículo, se le pedirá que salga del drive thru y proceda al semáforo.

• Lo siento, pero debido a COVID-19 no habrá formularios de pedido en papel este año; todo está en línea.

Este es nuestro tercer año con nuestra increíble fotógrafa, Brenda Hawkes, de Hawkes School Portraits. Ella hace un trabajo hermoso, ¡no te decepcionará! Una vez que nuestras fotos estén listas, las pruebas se enviarán por correo electrónico a todos. Aquellas familias que preordenaron recibirán la prueba, así como sus impresiones se enviarán por correo inmediatamente a través de USPS directamente a su hogar. Si no desea hacer un pedido por adelantado y elige esperar hasta que vea la prueba digital, también puede hacerlo, solo tomará un poco más de tiempo obtener sus fotos.
 
• Las fotos de la clase no serán compuestas este año.

• Si no puede asistir al día de las fotos de este viernes, tendremos un día más de recuperación / repetición en octubre. ¡Pero esperamos verlos a todos el viernes!
