Welcome to this year's Read-A-Thon, a fun and educational way to fundraise for vital school supplies and activities! Students record their reading minutes and collect pledge money from family, friends and community members. If every student raises $40 we will make $10,000! (Did I read that right?? Yes, wow!) 9/13/21 - Superintendent Linda Irving discusses back to school with in-person learning, how the district is responding to COVID, and what to expect as we move forward into the school year. Health, safety, and learning continue to be our priorities and we appreciate your partnership, patience and support.

SEF will hold a Dine & Donate each month until the end of the school year. Mark your calendars with the dates enclosed. Dine & Donate flyers (to be shown at the time of purchase) will be circulated prior to each event via Parent Square, the SEF Facebook page, and the Park Side Wednesday Weekly.

4/13/21 - We know that these past few months we've asked you to complete numerous surveys. Your input and feedback are important to us. Today, we are writing to ask for ~15 minutes of your time to complete an online survey that will help us improve our schools. We have asked YouthTruth – a nonprofit organization that supports hundreds of schools and districts across the county – to conduct an anonymous survey on our behalf.

We hope you had a wonderful, restful spring break! School resumes today, March 29, 2021. Please note, this week will look a little different. In preparation for our upcoming schedule changes on April 5th and 7th, and to allow teachers time to make the shift to in-person instruction, we will have a modified schedule. As the COVID-19 situation continues to improve in Sonoma County, we need your input for the spring trimester. We are finalizing our safety plans and anticipating a return to campus in a Hybrid model, sometime after Spring Break. We will keep you posted once our plans have been approved by the county and state health departments. In the meantime, we need to know your preference for your student(s). Please take just a few moments to complete the survey.

Safe Routes to School (SRTS) is hosting a February Walk & Roll for Our HeARTS art contest. Draw what you LOVE about Walking & Rolling. Any student who turns in art to SRTS will be entered into a drawing for a $50.00 gift card to the Art Supply Store, and, in addition, 12 (or more) will be chosen for the 2021-22 Walk & Roll for Our HeARTS Wall calendar!

Brook Haven Middle School invites parents and guardians of incoming 5th Grade students to meet the teachers, and learn more about the school, curriculum, and extracurricular offerings. Park Side 4th graders will participate in a spring orientation with their classes.

Get to know Park Side's amazing teachers, programs, and culture. Ask questions, learn about the enrollment process, and get excited about the beginning of your student's educational journey! This event is also for those interested in CASTLE's before/after school programs, and 1st-4th grade enrollment.
