About Ms. Schaez

Hi there! My name is Ashton Schaezlein, but the kids call me Ms. Schaez (pronounced “Shaz”). I was born and raised in Windsor and love everything about living in Sonoma County. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Communicative Disorders from University of Redlands and my Masters in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University. I have been working with students who have special needs teaching since 2016 and have been Park Side’s Learning Center teacher since 2021. 

I truly believe that every child is a unique individual with their own set of strengths and potential. I strive to create a warm, supportive classroom environment where every student feels truly valued. There's nothing more exciting than helping students grow their confidence all while having fun!

When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me cooking delicious meals with my husband, snuggling with my miniature dachshund Winnie, or spending time with family.
